Evangelical Lutheran Church has been granted a piece of land in Ngau Tam Mei, Yuen Long by New World Development Company Limited for the construction of transitional housing.

The project aims to provide short-term rental housing at a lower cost to individuals who are on the public housing waiting list for at least 3 years or have an urgent housing need.

About The STEP

The STEP consists 5 residential buildings in 4-storey, with social service facilities to meet the needs of the community and residents.

A total of 1,080 units are constructed using the ” Modular Integrated Construction “.

The estimated population residing in the apartments is around 3,000 people, benefiting approximately 15,000 people throughout the project’s operation period.
